HSi typically works on either an access-based or project-based retainer contract depending of the needs of our clients. Because this work is a process that takes time and is impacted by many external forces (funding streams, policy makers, etc.) it is most efficient for our clients to approach our service this way as opposed to hourly.

We do offer hourly or project-based strategy session facilitation for one-time or introductory engagements to our work.

Public and private businesses and organizations pay for our resources in a variety of ways. In some instances we are a part of an organizations operating budget as a predictable operating expense. Other times nonprofits and government agencies may attach our work to special projects or capacity building grant efforts.

Most often HSi services are purchased on a retainer contract for 6 – 12 months at a time. A retainer fee equivalent to one month’s payment is collected at the time of the contract signing and the balance of the contract is paid in monthly installments for the remainder of the contract period.
